The national law firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, marked its 45th anniversary with a celebration for nearly 200 partners and alumni on April 22 at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica. The firm, which began in April 1965 with Charles Manatt and Thomas Phelps in a single office in Van Nuys, has grown to include nearly 400 professionals in eight offices across the country.
