Members of the bar gathered at The City Club in San Francisco Tuesday for a reception honoring 56 lawyers selected as California Lawyer magazine’s attorneys of the year. Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye helped kick off the party with a brief speech congratulating the honorees for their work on a wide variety of cases in 2011. Sole practitioners, government lawyers and firm attorneys were among those selected. -Rebecca Beyer
