On Nov. 10, nearly 200 supporters of the Los Angeles County Bar Foundation came together on an evening of Vegas-style gaming to raise funds to support three projects of the Los Angeles County Bar Association: domestic violence, AIDS legal services and immigration legal assistance. As part of the celebration, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa recognized Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck and United States Court of Appeal Judge Kim Wardlaw, who were honored by the foundation for their work on behalf of those causes.
