The Century City office of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi LLP hosted a book launch party on Aug. 25 for the first edition of the Oxford University Press treatise on Entertainment Litigation. Charles J. Harder of Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin LLP edited the book, which includes analysis of several legal matters that frequently arise in the entertainment industry, along with sample briefs, motions and complaints. Michael J. Plonsker of Robins Kaplan wrote a chapter on the Talent Agencies Act, and Robert M. Schwartz of O’Melveny & Myers LLP wrote several chapters on intellectual property. Robert S. Chapman of Eisner Kahan & Gorry PC; Miles J. Feldman of Raines Feldman LLP; Michael E. Weinsten of Lavely & Singer PC; Kirk Pasich of Dickstein Shapiro LLP; Patty Glaser of Glaser, Weil, Fink, Jacobs, Howard & Shapiro LLP; and Larry S. Greenfield of Spillane Weingarten LLP also contributed.
