The San Diego office of Jones Day participated in the San Diego Downtown Relay for Life at the Seaport Village in San Diego over the weekend, finishing first out of 64 teams in fundraising. The firm has already raised $22,000 and expects to add to that total by the time the campaign ends on August 31. Jones Day’s team had at least one person on the track for every minute of the 24-hour event, including three staff members who walked through the night and employee, Debra Cardena, who circled the track 100 times in 24 hours. The event raises funds annually for the American Cancer Society.
