Chief Justice Ronald George swears in newly confirmed Presiding Justice Tricia Ann Bigelow at the Supreme Court Courtroom in downtown Los Angeles yesterday. Bigelow will serve as presiding justice for the Second Appellate District, Division 8, where she has served as associate justice since 2008. The former Los Angeles Superior Court judge replaces former Presiding Justice Candace D. Cooper, who retired in 2008.
