Thomas V. Girardi of Girardi Keese honored Loyola Law School, Los Angeles Professor Paul T. Hayden with the newly created Thomas V. Girardi Chair in Consumer Protection Law at a ceremony on Loyola’s campus on May 2. The chair recognizes Hayden’s contributions in the area of tort law. Hayden, a member of the American Law Institute, teaches Comparative Tort Law and Products Liability at Loyola. Loyola Law School Dean Victor Gold provided opening remarks at the presentation, at which Loyola Marymount University President David W. Burcham also spoke. Girardi was joined by benefactors and fellow alumni Albro Lundy of Baker Burton & Lundy and Walter J. Lack, founding and managing partner of Engstrom, Lipscomb & Lack.
