WRM America financed a one-day conference in San Francisco on Tuesday to help address incidents involving sexual harassment, sexual assault, bullying and cyber-bullying. The event was designed for principals, managers, administrators and board members of schools and colleges aware of the laws pertaining to bullying incidents.
Beth Kahn, partner at Morris Polich & Purdy LLP, spoke on how to prevent and mitigate legal issues in cases involving sexual misconduct and harassment. Penelope Deihl, partner at Morris Polich & Purdy LLP, shared thoughts on legal issues involving bullying and cyber-bullying. Richard Nakamura, Jr., partner at Morris Polich & Purdy LLP, gave closing remarks on appellate decision-making in regards to the day?s discussions.
