As Oregon Assistant U.S. Attorney Ryan Bounds hopefully awaits confirmation hearings to fill Diarmuid O'Scannlain's former 9th Circuit post, his colleague on the court's lawyer representative panel, James Azadian (Enterprise Counsel Group) joins our show to chat about Ryan Bounds' experience, credentials, and the confirmation battle he'll meet.
Also, Peter Henning, from Wayne State Law will visit to chat a recent 2nd Circuit ruling that he says is a boon to prosecutors and appreciably widens the scope of criminal liability for insider trading cases.
And Eric Segall, of Georgia State University College of Law will discuss the exchange between Senator Dianne Feinstein and Professor Amy Coney Barrett that's drawn intense criticism.
