Land use and real estate transactions
Duffy, one of the only women in the Bay Area to be a name partner at a major law firm, is often the leading force behind some of the biggest and most complicated real estate developments in Northern California.
Over the past year, she's represented the San Francisco 49ers in the football team's controversial move to a new $937 million, 68,000-seat stadium project in Santa Clara, which is expected to be finished by the 2014 season. She also represented the Exploratorium, an internationally known science and art museum, in negotiating a complex 66-year lease agreement with the Port of San Francisco to move to Piers 15-17 while allowing for historic preservation of the property.
In addition, Duffy represented developer Forest City in securing a long-term lease of the 70-year-old Public Health Services Hospital in San Francisco's historic Presidio for 154 apartments and seven new townhouses.
