Commercial litigation

Count on Grossman to be in the middle of the biggest game in town. As the Los Angeles Dodgers' owners Jamie and Frank McCourt revved up for what has proven to be bitter, protracted divorce proceedings, it fell to Grossman to shepherd the sports team through the tough times. Earlier in the year, ESPN reporter Erin Andrews called on him when a viral video appeared, apparently filmed through the keyhole in her hotel room door, showing her undressing. Grossman saw that the FBI brought the alleged stalker in on criminal charges and that the illicit video was removed. He also helped Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling resolve contractual disputes with Warner Brothers Entertainment Inc. and led a trial team that represented Grupo Televisa S.A.B., which secured a settlement in a three-year battle with Univision. Next up, Grossman is helping Chabad of California obtain $17.5 million in future donations from the estate of the late subprime mortgage kingpin Roland Arnall.
