Energy project finance

Feo has been busy closing renewable energy deals this year in the face of a severe credit crisis that has brought a lot of wind, solar, geothermal and other alternative energy projects to a standstill. In June, he represented solar company SunPower Corp. in a deal with Wells Fargo to provide $100 million in financing to allow the company to install solar panels on rooftops of large commercial buildings in California. Beyond deals for other wind and geothermal projects, Feo also represented California Bioenergy in one of the first formal deals to sell greenhouse gas reduction credits to Pacific Gas & Electric Co. from capturing methane emissions at a Central Valley dairy operation.
