Litigation

McKeon, who heads Morgan Lewis' global litigation practice, handles high-stakes, crisis litigation and internal investigations for a wide range of clients. She currently represents Deutsche Bank National Trust Co. and investors in $82 billion worth of mortgage securities in connection with failure of IndyMac Bancorp Inc., the second largest regulated bank failure in U.S. history. In May, she filed an $8 billion lawsuit against the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. that challenges FDIC's handling of IndyMac's failure. She and the firm are also litigating several other related cases, including matters involving bond insurers and pool insurers affected by IndyMac's failures. She and the firm also have been litigating several subprime mortgage cases, even before the current crisis.
