Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher | Los Angeles

As co-chair of the firm's media and entertainment practice group, she thrives on joint ventures that capitalize on new technologies and opportunities for convergence. In July, she led a team of lawyers that rocked the gaming universe with the creation of the world's largest independent video game publisher. Fisher represented Vivendi SA in the merger of its subsidiary, Vivendi Games, with pure-play online and console game publisher Activisio to create Activision Blizzard. Additionally, she helped Vivendi in securing a controlling interest in the new venture, valued at more than $22 billion. Last year, she represented Warner Music Group in a joint venture with the family of Frank Sinatra to develop Frank Sinatra Enterprises, manage all aspects of "Old Blue Eyes'" artistic contributions to music and all licences for the use of his name and likeness.
