Having long established his reputation as California's premier Indian gaming lawyer, the head of Holland & Knight's Indian gaming practice remains at the forefront of the field. This year, Levine worked out a $100 million resort deal between the county of Sonoma and the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians. He also represented the Pechanga and San Manuel tribes in negotiations with the state over slot machines, and participated in shaping California's Indian gaming legislation. He also manages more than 50 attorneys as the executive partner of his firm's Los Angeles office.
