The former Los Angeles County district attorney and former attorney general is chairman of the Senate-created California Commission on the Fair Administration of Justice, where he has been studying and lobbying for a slate of reforms intended to reduce the number of wrongful convictions. Van de Kamp is also of-counsel with Dewey Ballantine and works as a mediator for ADR Services.
