Law professors and tax experts gathered at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law to discuss congressionally proposed federal tax reforms.
Entitled “Tax Reform: Perspectives From Across the Nation,” the Oct. 25 event featured officials with Tax Analysts, the American Bar Foundation and USC.
The minimum continuing legal education event included a two-hour expert panel presentation followed by a discussion period, analyzing recent efforts by the U.S. Congress to implement fundamental tax reform. The featured experts looked at consequences for the global economy, including new risks and opportunities.
The event was one of several symposiums held across the country by Tax Analysts and the American Bar Foundation, designed to gain a variety of perspectives on tax reform from across the nation.
