From automotive parts to banking institutions, Dunn has played a central role in many high-stakes business transactions.
Her day-to-day work includes a broad range of activities including acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, bridge loans, asset-based loans, subordinated debt and mezzanine financings.
Some of the biggest transactions she’s played a role in recently included AdvancePierre Food Holdings Inc.’s acquisition by Tyson Foods for $4.2 billion. Dunn also had a hand in Intel Corporation’s $15 billion acquisition of Mobileye N.V., a developer of collision prevention systems for cars. The transaction was one of the largest mergers and acquisitions in Israel and one of the largest ever involving an Israeli technology company.
Brian J. McCarthy, head of Skadden’s Los Angeles office, said Dunn is a terrific lawyer and a wonderful colleague.
“She has an incredible wealth of experience and deep market knowledge that enables her to manage highly complex matters,” he said. “Her clients also appreciate her highly service-oriented approach and the amount of creativity that she brings to her deals.”
Other notable mentions while working as lead banking counsel include O’Reilly Automotive Inc. in its $1.2 billion senior unsecured revolving credit facility and PayPal Holdings Inc. in connection with a $3 billion term loan facility. Dunn also helped XIO Group in the $540 million first and second lien financings for its $1 billion acquisition of Costa Mesa-based J.D. Power & Associates.
Aside from her professional work, Dunn remains involved in her community. She recently volunteered with a Skadden team to complete a camps renewal project at KIPP Los Angeles’ Preparatory Academy in South Los Angeles. She also serves on the board of directors for Covenant House California, a nonprofit resource provider for at-risk homeless youth.
