Earlier this year, Wasser launched “It’s Over Easy,” an iOS platform to guide couples through the entire uncontested divorce process, enabling them to represent themselves and get divorced online.
“We’ve kind of exceeded even our highest expectations in terms of how it’s going,” Wasser said. The platform launched in January and “we’ve already got about 4,000 people who have signed up out of New York and California,” she said, adding, “It’s kind of amazing!”
Currently, Wasser and her team are raising funds “so we can branch out a little bit more into some new states,” she said, predicting “It’s Over Easy” will launch in Nevada, Florida and Illinois next.
“We have an amazing amount of content in addition to the platform where you can go on and get divorced online,” Wasser said. The site also has blog posts on the topic of divorce and a provider directory with individuals equipped to help those going through divorce, she said.
On April 1, Wasser launched a podcast titled “Divorce Sucks!”
The first installment of Wasser’s podcast was a conglomeration of a panel she had in February at the Bumble Hive pop-up in Los Angeles, she said.
“We had a panel there, like a mind and body wellness panel, for people going through divorce and breakups,” Wasser said.
Her next podcast will come out in May. Going into the summer, Wasser said she plans to interview mental health professionals, financial insiders and celebrities “about the subject of breaking up, moving on, co-parenting, all the stuff incident to breakups. Not just divorces, but breakups.”
