UC Irvine, Pepperdine law students win prizes in annual writing competition

The winners appeared virtually Aug. 5 to read summaries of their papers to members of the California Supreme Court Historical Society.

A UC Irvine School of Law student won top prize and one from Pepperdine University School of Law won third in the annual Selma Moidel Smith Student Writing Competition. The winners appeared virtually Aug. 5 to read summaries of their papers to members of the California Supreme Court Historical Society. Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye congratulated and encouraged them.
