Time to Sit Down on the CJP

Kevin K. Green

Senior Counsel, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP

The views expressed are his own.

One of California's most able lawyers sees conspiracy in a blade of grass. Now California's highest judicial officer is being accused of criminal misconduct. When does it end?

Jon Eisenberg has made his points. As I argued in the Daily Journal last year, the Commission on Judicial Performance should be allowed to do its job without trying complaints against judges in the press. And without the presumption that allegations are facts and the outcome will be a whitewash.
