Saga of California ranchos intriguing

Mr. Caragozian:

I was intrigued, amazed, and then impressed by your article regarding California's Ranchos (Aug,. 30th edition of the Daily Journal). The history and saga of the California Ranchos is largely unknown to many, including those of us who were born and raised in pueblos like Montebello, El Monte, San Fernando, and of course, Los Angeles.
