 Kiley Grombacher

Kiley Grombacher, a Founding Partner at Bradley/Grombacher LLP, has distinguished herself in the legal field through her work in personal injury, employment, mass tort and class action litigation, notably achieving seven and eight-figure verdicts and settlements over the past decade.

Grombacher’s work includes significant cases like the In re Johnson & Johnson Aerosol Sunscreen Mktg. Sales Practices & Prods. Liability Litigation., where she was appointed lead counsel. The lawsuit addressed the presence of benzene, a known carcinogen, in Neutrogena sunscreen products. The settlement not only offered compensation to affected consumers through vouchers but also ensured the coverage of legal costs and an incentive award, demonstrating Grombacher’s effectiveness in achieving comprehensive settlements for her clients.

Another notable case led by Grombacher highlighted issues around workplace accommodations for breastfeeding mothers at Amazon. Fernanda Torres et al. v. Amazon.com Services, LLC., 5:22-CV-01326 (C.D. Cal., filed July 28, 2022).

“Of late, my practice focuses on legal issues that impact women and children. The cases that I select are ones where I feel our firm can make a significant impact in bringing about social justice,” Grombacher said.

“Getting plaintiffs with small value claims to come forward is always a challenge,” she continued. “We are asking them to be the torchbearers for others at often great personal expense. We are grateful to those who have the courage to come forward and honored to represent them.”

In addressing trends and challenges within the legal field, Grombacher recognizes the innovative efforts of the plaintiff’s bar in overcoming barriers such as arbitration agreements that often impede access to justice. Her perspective highlights the necessity for continued creativity and resilience in the legal profession to ensure that consumers and individuals can effectively seek and obtain meaningful legal redress.
