Dalton Sprinkle has lived the roller coaster ride that has been the renewable energy industry over the past seven years.
He found himself in the middle of the federal energy loan debate while working for a startup designing a custom-made diesel police car - a project that was scuttled when the Department of Energy ceased its loan program due to the controversy around Solyndra Financing LLC's bankruptcy.
