For Joni Gaudes, the daily drive up Sepulveda Boulevard from Manhattan Beach to the Howard Hughes Center, where she works as general counsel for privately-held Futuredontics Inc., was a dream come true.
"There's no freeway commuting," said the Huntington Beach native who now calls Manhattan Beach home.
