SAN FRANCISCO - Early in her legal career, Susan Stick wanted to prosecute criminals in international courts. She studied model cases involving hypothetical Basque separatist uprisings and participated in a well-known international law moot court competition. But, Stick said, law school has a funny way of funneling students into alternate career paths, and she eventually ended up practicing intellectual property law at Fenwick & West LLP.
