LOS ANGELES -- "What's for breakfast this morning?" asked Judge Malcolm H. Mackey with a hint of raillery as he sat down and looked at his calendar right when the timer at Department 55 in the Stanley Mosk Courthouse hit 8:30 a.m.
Forty-three years on the bench. A total of 675 cases ... and counting. It is fair to say that Mackey has seen it all from a judicial standpoint.
