SANTA MARIA - Kay Kuns traveled with a group of 40 lawyers to Cuba 10 years ago to study the country's criminal justice system.

The trip was her introduction to People to People International, the initiative started more than half a century ago by President Dwight D. Eisenhower to promote understanding between ordinary people all over the world.
