LOS ANGELES - Superior Court Judge Teresa Beaudet and her husband are restoring their 1909 Victorian/Craftsman-style house. They started 20 years ago.

"It's a glacial project," Beaudet said with a grin.

Her husband, artist Gerald Giamportone, loves to hunt for original hardware and plumbing fixtures from that era, Beaudet said. They're not easy to find.
