LOS ANGELES - Each morning, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sheri Bluebond walks into her downtown Los Angeles courtroom and is quietly reminded of the on-going financial crisis.

Bluebond's docket is bursting with some 4,288 cases. About 3,800 of those involve bankruptcy pleadings filed in Riverside County, a vast swath of suburbia with one of the highest foreclosure rates in the nation.
