LOS ANGELES - Before he ever wanted to be an attorney, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Kerry R. Bensinger wanted to be a playwright.
After graduating in 1982 from Yale University, where he studied English and drama, Bensinger enrolled in a playwriting program in Europe. He spent six months at the Sorbonne in Paris and three months in Madrid, authoring three plays while he was abroad.
