GLENDALE - Although she has been on the bench for nearly 19 years, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Laura Matz regularly checks her decision making. "I wrestle with that every day," she said. "I always question the decisions I make, whether I made it based on the facts or based on something else. I just try every day to do what the law requires and to be fair to everybody."
