President Barack Obama's election and re-election brought a smile to Senior Circuit Judge J. Jerome Farris, the first black jurist on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
"To think the first black on this court is still living to see the first black president," Farris, 82, marveled in an interview two days after the Nov. 6 election.
