SAN FRANCISCO - Judge Linda H. Colfax's full-time career as a public servant for San Francisco started on a basketball court.
One evening, during her tenure doing contract work at San Francisco's Hall of Justice, she went to one of her now-wife's basketball games. While there she met one of the other spectators, Deputy Public Defender Nicole J. Solis, and they struck up a conversation.
