LOS ANGELES - The defendant with the tattooed face stood before Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Dennis J. Landin and promised he would meet the conditions of his probation.
Landin calmly and sternly warned the man that his second chance at attending a drug rehabilitation program in lieu of incarceration would be his last.
Despite the odds, Landin was optimistic the man would succeed.
