EL CAJON - When former prosecutor Robert O. Amador was elected to the San Diego County Superior Court in 2012, he resolved not to be "a D.A. who puts on a black robe."
A 30-year veteran of the district attorney's office, Amador spent the last five years of his tenure serving as a law enforcement liaison.
