BAKERSFIELD - When contracts classes at California law schools get to estoppel, students often hear about Drennan v. Star Paving, 51 Cal.2d 409, 333 P.2d 757 (1958).
The 51-year-old decision involved a construction subcontractor who made an erroneous bid to a general contractor, who then won a contract based on the incorrect bid.
