  SAN DIEGO -Judge Daniel F. Link acknowledges two temptations: Wanting to ask better
  questions than the attorneys, and wanting to warn them when to stop talking. 

  "But they're not my cases. They're the attorneys' cases. I get that. That's not my
  role," said Link, who recently completed his first year on the bench at the San Diego
