RIVERSIDE - The father, upset that Judge Steven Counelis wouldn't lower his monthly child support payments from more than $700, said in a recent hearing he thought the court system was "biased."

"Let's not talk about morality," the Riverside County Superior Court jurist quickly responded. "You had a second child out of wedlock. You created your life's problems."
