COMPTON - As a young attorney straight out of Southwestern Law School, Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke II went to work for his father, a legendary criminal defense attorney.
"His dad was one of the most prominent black lawyers in Los Angeles," said Robin J. Yanes, a longtime attorney who remembers running into Jacke's father in the courthouse in Compton.
