COMPTON - Judge John Lonergan holds a special place in his heart for the men and women of the U.S. armed forces.
"I've got this passion for veterans," he said.
He knows their sacrifice. He's one of them. So he's quick to jump in to help ease the burden of those returning to civilian life with physical, mental or emotional injuries.
