WOODLAND HILLS - Maureen Tighe had just graduated from college. The German major moved from Rutherford, N.J., to New York to run an international study program that facilitated exchange programs. Tighe believed she could change the world.
Today, from her post in Woodland Hills as a federal bankruptcy judge for the Central District, Tighe's focused has narrowed slightly, but her intent remains the same.
