BAKERSFIELD -- Judge John Oglesby jokes about being an old school bench officer who can see a use for PowerPoint but is certain it will never replace a traditional courtroom argument. "The point I try to make to attorneys is: If you fall in love with someone and you want to persuade that person to marry you, are you going to do a PowerPoint or are you going to get down on your knees and argue from the bottom of your heart?"
