SAN ANDREAS — Calaveras County Presiding Judge Timothy S. Healy knows about second chances.
So when Gov. Jerry Brown appointed another attorney to his dream job, he filed papers to run anyway — and won. Today he’s the only full-time judge in Calaveras County.
“I knew that was the only opportunity I was ever going to have,” Healy said of his 2014 victory.
