SAN FERNANDO — As an idealistic high school student, Tamu Usher decided she wanted to help people. She enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
“I was going to help fashion victims,” Usher said, laughing at the memory of her younger self, adding, “I stumbled my way into this.”
