SAN DIEGO — Once Judge Judith Hayes has given a tentative ruling, she is willing to hold hold multiple conferences to discuss it, if necessary.

“In regard to tentative rulings, we try to conference once when the matter is first considered, a second time before the tentative issues and a third time after oral argument,” she said in an email.
