DOWNIEVILLE — If Yvette Durant were a better singer, she might never have become an attorney.
“I can’t sing a lick to save my life,” said the Sierra County Superior Court judge. “When you’re a theater major, to go to graduate school, you’ve got to be able to sing, dance and act. That singing part really held me up.”
