LOS ANGELES — Nearly a decade ago, an appointment secretary for the governor’s office told Henry Hall he wouldn’t be named to the bench because of one notorious past client.
“He said no governor is going to appoint anyone who’s represented the Night Stalker,” Hall recalled.
