VENTURA — Judge Benjamin Coats calls himself “an under-the-radar kind of guy.”
So much so that when he got married, he didn’t tell anyone until after it happened. He and the bride decided about two days before the ceremony took place.
“No one was invited,” Coats said.
He’s wasn’t being rude, just humble. “I don’t like attention,” he said.
