SAN DIEGO -- Superior Court Judge Truc Do sees her appointment to the bench as a homecoming to the courtroom.

In the major crimes division of the Los Angeles County district attorney's office, she prosecuted 75 jury trials, including 20 murder trials and two death penalty cases. She secured convictions on all of the murder trials.
